Welcome to Monkey Puzzle Bedford. A beautiful nursery setting offering outstanding childcare to Babies, Toddlers and Preschoolers aged 3 months to 5 years old. As the parents of two young children, both of whom attend our setting, our vision behind our nursery is very clear. We want our setting to be an amazing family orientated place, with spaces where love, laughter and learning are the focus.
We strongly believe that if children are given, love, support, and encouragement every child will develop and thrive. Our wish is for our setting to be a place where children are enabled to learn through inspiring play.
We believe that the best learning is play and fun filled new experiences. The combination of play and a flexible routine enable our little people to feel safe to explore new experiences while testing their boundaries.

By ensuring children feel happy and safe, our trained, Monkey family/staff team will strive to create a fun filled home from home for your little person. Their progress will be monitored, recorded, and shared regularly using our state of the art Nursery systems, to ensure they have the very best in Early Years Education.
In addition to the ethos of our Bedford Nursery, we are supported by the Monkey Puzzle Day Nurseries group, who have over 50 ‘Outstanding’ or ‘Good’ Ofsted rated nurseries across the country and over 30 years of experience in the childcare industry. In 2017 we opened our second setting, Monkey Puzzle Kettering. This was followed by our third setting, Monkey Puzzle Irthlingbourgh, and then our fourth in Monkey Puzzle Riverside in 2024. Our nurseries all work together, sharing good practice, ideas and support each other to strive to be outstanding.

My daughter joined Monkey Puzzle Nursery before her 1st birthday. She is nearly 3 and she is enjoying every minute at the nursery. She learned so much over these years and still learning everyday. She gets all the attention and support every day. She is learning different activities, words, exploring new things everyday. I can’t believe how much she leans and how much she teaches me what she learns at Monkey Puzzle. Even though it took time to settle when she was moved to toddlers rooms but the staff always knew how to confer her and help her to settle. Let’s talk about the staff which is the most important part. This is because without the amazing staff monkey puzzle won’t exist. Everyone that works at Monkey Puzzle are our super heroes. I’m not just saying that because they work super hard but they alway have the smile on their face even though sometimes they are tired or exhausted after a long day which parents don’t notice.
Everyone at Monkey Puzzle helped me a lot in multiple circumstances when I was struggling with my daughter’s tantrums or nightless sleeps or when I needed help with getting rid of the pacifier or now supporting and encouraging me with potty training. I am aware that there were lots of staff changing in the past years but the management managed to replace them and get the best team. Especially now I can see new faces around Monkey Puzzle but all of them are very welcoming and pleasant to have a chat with whether is from my daughter’s room or not. For us monkey puzzle it’s more like a family then a nursery. I can talk to anyone about anything and get the best support or advice at any time. They always made time to listen to me even though sometimes they were busy or wanted to go home. This is why I love Monkey Puzzle and I’m happy I took the decision to get my daughter to joint this amazing team and nursery. Definitely recommend it to everyone not just family or friends.
